The Owen County Drug Prevention Coalition will sponsor the annual Faith to Stand event by partnering with local churches. The event will be held at the concession stand near the horse arena from 5-6:30 p.m., before the Community-Wide Church Service. The Coalition and churches will be providing free food, resources related to substance prevention and use/abuse, and family activities for all community members.

The presentation of Mother of the Year and Owen Countian of the Year will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the main arena (the meeting hall of the Owen County Extension Office is an alternate).

The Community-Wide Church Service begins at 7 p.m. (music may begin before). Richard Miles, pastor of Owenton United Methodist Church, will give a testimony, followed by keynote speaker pastor Everette Hawkins of Owenton.
